Overview

The Division of Otolaryngology at Children’s Mercy Kansas City is seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join our dedicated team of 7 surgeons and 13 advanced practice providers in delivering exceptional pediatric ENT care.

 

About the Role

Children’s Mercy Kansas City is a 390-bed independent, tertiary care pediatric hospital with an extensive catchment area, allowing our pediatric otolaryngology team to manage the full spectrum of complex cases. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable treating a wide range of pediatric otolaryngology conditions in both clinical and surgical settings.  Our team is committed to providing excellent clinical care in a supportive, collaborative environment. This role includes an active clinical and surgical practice as well as opportunities to teach otolaryngology residents (PGY 1-5) and our pediatric otolaryngology fellow.

 

Academic & Research Opportunities

Candidates with research interests will find strong institutional support through the Children’s Mercy Research Institute (CMRI), a state-of-the-art facility emphasizing a translational approach to research. The division prioritizes research collaboration and mentorship for faculty interested in advancing pediatric ENT care.

About the Division of Otolaryngology

The Division of Otolaryngology, part of the Department of Surgery, is a nationally recognized leader in pediatric ENT care, education, and research. Our team manages 20,000+ clinical visits and performs over 5,000 surgeries annually.

  • Verified Level I Pediatric Trauma Program & Level I Children’s Surgery Program by the American College of Surgeons.
