Overview

The Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Children’s Mercy Kansas City seeks outstanding applicants with training and expertise in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology for a fulltime position with clinical and research advancement opportunities.  We offer a very competitive salary, a generous relocation package and the opportunity to be a part of a collaborative and caring environment where you can make a difference!   Applicants should be board eligible or certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and possess excellent surgical, clinical and academic skills.  Persons with fellowships in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and/or certified in Focused Practice with the American Board are preferred.

 

This is a-well established position with robust expanding clinical practice; providing gynecologic care for young women birth to age 21. We have an integral involvement with broad multidisciplinary care and research of complex pediatric patients including treatment and care of patients with bleeding disorders, disorders of sexual differentiation, anorectal malformations and complex endocrinopathies. 

 

Opportunities for clinical and research support and collaboration are available within the Departments of Pediatric Surgery and Urology.  The Division maintains a close relationship with academic appointments in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Missouri, Kansas City and provides the teaching and instruction for residents and fellows in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.  The division is rapidly growing and expanding with two full-time dedicated physicians, two advanced practice nurses and one fellow.
